Why do we need to do this?
To let you use the full features of your OnePay account and to increase security, we need to ensure you are who you say you are. This helps to protect you against fraud. We check your identification document alongside an image of you holding your ID next to your face. Once we've verified this, you will become a Select customer and unlock the following features:
✔ Receive wage payments from a OnePay introduced agency
✔ Use your card to spend in store & online
✔ Withdraw cash at ATMs
✔ Multilingual support online & by phone
✔ Check your balance, transaction history and retrieve your PIN on our online portal
✔ Access to your account number & sort code
✔ Receive money from any individual or organisation with a UK bank account
✔ Keep your OnePay card and account for as long as you like**
To upgrade your account please provide us with some identification. We will need:
- A photograph (or scan) of both sides of your identification document (ID). We will only accept a valid passport, a valid national ID card or a valid photocard driving licence.
- A photograph of you holding your ID next to your face. Once you've taken a photograph of your identification document and a photograph of yourself holding your ID, you can upload them

What happens next?

Please note: whilst we verify your documents, if you receive a payment on to your account from anyone other than an approved OnePay agency, farm or employer, your account may be restricted until sufficient documentation has been provided and verified.
