To upgrade your account please provide us with some identification. We will need: 

  1. A photograph (or scan) of both sides of your identification document (ID). We will only accept a valid passport, a valid national ID card or a valid photocard driving licence. 
  2. A photograph of you holding your ID next to your face.

How to take a photograph of your ID:

  • Put your ID onto a flat surface to take the photograph. 

  • Turn your ID sideways and take the photograph using the full portrait camera. 

  • Hold the camera parallel/above the ID. 

  • Ensure you are in a well-lit area and avoid glares and shadows.

  • Don't use the flash when taking the photograph. 

How to take a photograph of you holding your ID: 

  • Hold the ID next to your face and make sure the photograph on the ID is showing. 

  • Do not hold the ID over your face.

  • Do not use any filters or edit the photo. 

  • Hold the camera parallel to your face and take the image using the full portrait camera. 

  • Ensure you are in a well-lit area to avoid glares and shadows.

Please note: whilst we verify your documents, if you receive a payment on to your account from anyone other than an approved OnePay agency, farm or employer, your account may be restricted until sufficient documentation has been provided and verified.

Why do we need these? 

To let you use the full features of your OnePay account we need to ensure you are who you say you are. In order to do this, we have to verify your identity. We will check your identification document as well as an image of you holding your ID next to your face to confirm your identity. By doing this, you increase the security on your account and help us to protect you from fraud.
