Registering for the ‘My OnePay’ App
When you register for the ‘My OnePay’ app you will need to go through security to verify it is you. You will be asked to confirm the following:
- Your ten digit customer number, which can be found on the welcome email you received from us or on the back of your OnePay card
- Your date of birth
- Your registered mobile or email address – if you haven’t supplied either please call our Customer Services Team on 0113 320 1900
You will then receive a One Time Passcode (OTP) to your mobile or email. Enter this when requested on the app. You’ll then be asked to create a memorable passcode which you will use to log onto the ‘My OnePay’ app in the future, or you can enable biometrics.

OnePay Portal
You can register for the online portal here.
When you register for the OnePay online portal you will need to go through security to verify it is you. You will be asked to confirm the following:

OnePay Account
You're included!
- Each OnePay account comes with its own Sort Code and Account Number.
- A sort code is a specific to each financial institution and is six digits long and separated by two hyphens, E.G. 04-00-83. Along with your account number it provides you with a unique set of details to identify your OnePay account.
- Provide this to someone who wants to transfer money to you, for example your employer, pension or benefits provider.
- You can find your unique Sort Code and Account number under Account Details in your OnePay app or online portal.

Received a cheque from HMRC?

OnePay PAYG, FLEX & Active customers can cash cheques directly into their OnePay account in 3 easy steps:
Cheques are cashed and credited to your account within 5-7 working days following receipt.
Sorted.
You’ve made an income tax refund claim – HMRC will issue the cheque, made out to you at your preferred mailing address
Once you’ve received the cheque – simply write your name and OnePay Customer Number* on the back of the cheque
Mail the cheque to OnePay mail address: OnePay, Mayfield House, Lower Railway Road, Ilkley, LS29 8FL
Transferring money
Send money securely with a OnePay Account
Sending money is fast, easy and secure with a OnePay account. You have three convenient ways to transfer your money:
- International money transfers – to friends and family abroad
- UK money transfers – transfer another account in the UK
- Account to Account transfers – transfer to another OnePay Account holder
International Money Transfers
Quickly send money abroad to friends and family. As a Select customer you can make international transfers directly from the ‘My OnePay’ App or
Online Portal.
To get started you will need:
- Account holder’s name and address
- IBAN or account number
- The country the account is based in
- The BIC/SWIFT
- The name and address of the Account holder’s bank
UK Money Transfers
If you are a Select customer you can send money to UK bank accounts. You can do this on the ‘My OnePay’ App or Online Portal following the steps in the animation to the left.
To make the transfer you will need the following information:
- Account holder’s name
- Account number
- Sort code

Account to Account transfers
You can send money to other OnePay Account holders for free on the ‘My OnePay’ App or Online Portal. To do this you will need to know the account holder’s customer number which they can find on the back of their OnePay card.
